I ship everyone with everyone.  I see a character with potential to be explored, and I try to think of that character's possible relationships with a number of other characters - love, hate, friendship, something parasitic, etc.  But, I keep it all in fan interpretation and out of canon design.  My ships are not headcanons, nor are they theories - they're a means of analyzing multiple facets of two characters at once.  All it is is a brief analysis to satisfy my own curiosity, not even going as far as an AU fanfiction to float the pairing. Summed up, the reason people freak out about each other's OC's (which is the primary source of drama) is because there are no set guidelines for "Creepypasta" outside of the writing standards provided on the website.  People complain that one character is a knockoff of another, and part of this problem is that both characters are treated as canonical in the eyes of the fandom.  So, what can be considered to be a fanwork and what cannot? My suggestion is that any story or pasta that is not featured on the primary CP website is, essentially, a fanwork dedicated to the Creepypasta genre, and is therefor not canonical.  I made a full post on Tum
